Jaw Joint Syndrome or Jaw Joint Disorder (TMJ/TMD) is a medical problem which is characterized by headaches, facial pain, and a creaking sound when moving the jaw and limited movement in the jaw. This study examined the influence of integrating Soft Laser therapy with eccentric resistance exercise in the treatment of Achilles tendon. The study found that the Soft Laser accelerated healing of the inflamed tendon, since the patients who were given Soft Laser treatment gained relief after four weeks, while the control group, which was only treated with eccentric exercising, achieved the same results only after twelve weeks.
Effects of laser treatment on the expression of cytosolic proteins in the synovium of patients with osteoarthritis.
This laboratory research collected samples of synovial fluid from six patients suffering from osteoarthritis. These samples were irradiated with a Soft Laser beam. The research describes the effect of the laser on these samples, versus the identical samples which served as a control group without being irradiated with a Soft Laser beam.
